Robert J. Wygonski, DMD
Meet Dr. Wygonski
Dr. Robert Wygonski is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He began private practice in 1999 on Cape Cod after serving 20 years in the United States Army. Dr. Wygonski received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Southern Illinois University and his D.M.D from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine.
He completed a four year hospital residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, as well as, additional facial trauma and reconstruction surgical training at Ben Taub General Hospital, Houston, Texas. Dr. Wygonski is a recipient of numerous medical awards for research in anesthesia. He is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Wygonski is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Association of Dental Anesthesiology and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the Cape Cod District Dental Society.
Dr. Wygonski maintains full privileges at Cape Cod Hospital and has served as chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and as a member of the Medical Executive Committee of Cape Cod Hospital.
